The best time to visit Dubai Safari Park is between November and March, when the weather in Dubai is cooler and more pleasant for outdoor activities. During these months, visitors can comfortably explore the expansive park grounds and enjoy the various wildlife zones without the discomfort of extreme heat. This period also provides ideal conditions for observing animals, as they tend to be more active and visible in cooler temperatures. Morning visits during this season are especially recommended to make the most of your experience.
Regardless of the season, the best time of day to visit Dubai Safari Park is in the morning. This is when most animals are at their most active, engaging in natural behaviors before the midday heat sets in. Visiting early not only enhances your chances of seeing the animals up close but also allows you to enjoy a more comfortable and less crowded experience. For a quieter visit, it's also recommended to explore the park on a weekday, as weekends tend to attract larger crowds.
Absolutely! The Kids Farm is specially designed for children with interactive experiences, pony rides, and educational workshops. It's a great family-friendly zone.
A full visit usually takes 4–6 hours, depending on your ticket type and whether you opt for the Explorer Safari and train.

Customer Reviews

A Memorable Safari Experience in a Hot Climate Visiting the safari was truly enjoyable, especially with its wheelchair-friendly facilities. The organization caters well to all visitors, ensuring a pleasant experience regardless of mobility issues. Being in a hot country, it's essential to stay hydrated, so make sure to bring plenty of water. I recommend packing extra cold drinks, as you’ll likely get thirsty during the long walks around the park. Don’t forget your hat! They also offer electric mobility scooters for rent at 50 AED per hour, which is a great option if you prefer not to walk long distances, especially given the heat. The animals are housed in spacious enclosures, making it easier to spot them compared to some other places where they may be hard to find. These enclosures prioritize animal comfort, providing them with privacy while still allowing visitors to enjoy observing them. Many of the viewing areas are air-conditioned, giving you a chance to cool down and take a break from the heat. Additionally, there are misting fans along the pathways, which were effective at a temperature of 36 degrees Celsius. However, I can’t speak to their efficiency during hotter summer days. It could be beneficial for the safari to consider offering nighttime visits, similar to some zoos like San Diego, as this could enhance the experience and increase revenue, especially due to the intense daytime heat. We didn't have enough time to explore all the exhibits thoroughly; after starting our visit at 11 AM, we only managed to see the safari area and part of the Africa section before having to leave by 5 PM when things began to close. If you decide to rent an electric mobility scooter, you might be able to see more. Overall, I highly recommend this safari! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the grounds were well-maintained with a good selection of animals. Just be sure to prepare yourself with plenty of water, sun protection, and a cool corner to rest. It’s a fantastic day activity in Dubai that we truly enjoyed!

Nice park. With many animals and options.but expensive tickets and food inside. Only the Lebanese food stall was true and value. Nice hardworking boy. The other stalls only try to get uou to pay more and more. The animals are much varied. The birds show was great. Tip no need to go for the full expensive package of 'safari'. Not worth it.

It was a really fun day out and the whole family loved it. One thing that I really did not like is the way the poor pony in the petting zoo is treated. I could clearly see that it zoochosis because it was pacing up and down the pen which was only twice its size. The rest of the day out was so fun and seeing the hippos was amazing

What an experience! Put this down as your must do activity in Dubai. This CANNOT be missed. I have been fortunate enough to experience the safaris in Africa so I’m able to compare just how close of an experience they have created, a bonus is the five star luxury. The facilities are so well-kept, manicured lawns, clean buggies and clean restrooms. There are plenty of eating options and I felt that the African Village had the highest choice of restaurants. There are even little grocery shops selling chocolates, chips, ice creams. The food prices are almost double than what you would get outside but that is with any other place like this. The little trains/buggies that take you from one place to another are also air conditioned! Welcome to Dubai! If Dubai does anything, they do it in style. So I had the luxury of seeing all these animals in the grandest way possible. We bought our park tickets online and I will highly recommend buying the additional safari trip from the Giraffe village that takes you around. My favourite part was the kids farm where you can pet animals and they have a bird aviary there where birds will feed off your palm! Absolutely loved it! Recommend months to visit will be from November to March. Get there early to avoid crowds.

Kennedy and Zacharia were amazing guides, so fun, so hospitable and very knowledgeable!!!! All the team loved the visit ❤️❤️
