Global Village Tickets 2026-27: Prices, Hours and How to Save
Global Village Season 31 tickets from AED 25, any day of the week. Weekday vs weekend prices, opening hours, free entry rules, buses and parking.

On this page
- Gate prices for Season 31: Dh25 Monday to Thursday, Dh30 Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. Both include 5% VAT.
- The trap: Sunday now counts as weekend. Last season a Sunday visit cost Dh25; this season it's Dh30 at the gate.
- Hours: 4pm to midnight Sunday to Wednesday, 4pm to 1am Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.
- Tuesdays are for families, couples and ladies only, unless the Tuesday is a public holiday.
- Free entry: children under 3, visitors 65 and over, and People of Determination plus one companion.
- Rides cost extra. Your entry ticket covers the park, pavilions and shows, not Carnaval rides or paid attractions.
Global Village opened its 31st season on Wednesday 14 October, and the ticket prices look exactly like last year's. They aren't quite. The weekend rate now kicks in on Sunday too, so a family that always went on Sunday evenings will pay Dh30 a head at the gate instead of Dh25.
That's a small number per person. Multiply it by four adults and a few visits over a seven-month season, and it adds up.

Most of the confusion comes from three things changing at once: which days count as "weekday", which hours apply after opening night, and who actually needs a ticket. Here's how it all works this season, plus the bits worth knowing before you set off up Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. If you're after the season dates and the story of the reopening, our Global Village opening date guide covers that side.
Global Village ticket prices for Season 31
Global Village sells two entry tickets on its website, app and at the gates. Prices are the same online and at the booth, so buying direct online saves you the queue rather than money.
| Ticket | Valid on | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Weekday ticket (official) | Monday to Thursday, not public holidays | AED 25 |
| Weekend / Any Day ticket (official) | Friday to Sunday and public holidays (also valid on weekdays) | AED 30 |
| ClickToGuide Any Day ticket | Any day, Monday to Sunday, until 31 May 2027 | from AED 25 |
| Children under 3, seniors 65+ | Any day | Free (collect at the admissions counter) |
| People of Determination + 1 companion | Any day | Free with ID and POD card |
Each ticket is good for one entry. Leave the park and you'll need a new one to get back in.
What the ticket doesn't include
Entry gets you through the gates and into the pavilions, the street performances and the main-stage shows. Carnaval rides and games, the paid walk-through attractions and the Wonder Pass are all paid separately once you're inside. Food, shopping and parking are extra too, so budget the entry fee as the smallest part of the night.
Opening hours and the best time to go
| Day | Hours | Gate price |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 4pm – midnight | AED 25 |
| Tuesday (families, couples and ladies only) | 4pm – midnight | AED 25 |
| Wednesday | 4pm – midnight | AED 25 |
| Thursday | 4pm – 1am | AED 25 |
| Friday | 4pm – 1am | AED 30 |
| Saturday | 4pm – 1am | AED 30 |
| Sunday | 4pm – midnight | AED 30 |
| Public holidays | 4pm – 1am | AED 30 |
You may have seen a 6pm start mentioned. That was opening night only, on 14 October. From then on the gates open at 4pm every day.
Gates stop letting people in shortly before closing, so don't plan to arrive at 11:45pm on a Wednesday. Thursday is the sweet spot: it's priced as a weekday at the gate but stays open until 1am like a weekend night. If you can only go Friday to Sunday, buy ahead and arrive close to 4pm, when it's cooler for walking and the crowds haven't peaked. Families with small kids get the most out of the early evening, before the late-night rush.
On Tuesdays, groups of men without families are turned away unless the day falls on a public holiday. Plan a different night if that's you.
How to save on Global Village tickets
- Go Monday to Thursday if you're paying at the gate. That's the Dh25 window now, and Sunday no longer is.
- Buy an Any Day ticket at AED 25 if your only free night is a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Our Global Village ticket is valid any day of the week, so you pay the weekday price on a weekend night.
- Check who goes free before you buy for the whole group. Under-3s and anyone 65 or over don't need a paid ticket.
- Bundle it. If Global Village is one stop on a bigger Dubai trip, a combo can work out cheaper than two separate tickets: Burj Khalifa + Global Village, Miracle Garden + Global Village, IMG Worlds with free Global Village or Dubai Parks and Resorts + Global Village. See all combo tickets.
- Take the bus on a weekend. Paid parking near the gates is reported at Dh75 to Dh120, and car parks fill up fast on weekend nights.
What's new in Season 31
The season runs under the theme "A More Wonderful World", with 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures and over 3,500 shopping outlets. The Sri Lanka pavilion and the shared Russia and Azerbaijan pavilion have been refreshed, and Syria and Kuwait are back with new façades.
- Passports: a redesigned Season 31 Passport and a new Kids Passport, with a stamping station in every pavilion. It's an easy way to keep children walking.
- Shows: around 40,000 across the season. New this year are the stunt show Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back and two anchor shows, Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist. Slam returns, and Care Bears and PJ Masks are back at the Kids Theatre.
- Food: more than 250 dining options. New names include Trabzon Turkish Restaurant, and Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking at Restaurant Plaza, plus the cafés Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café.
- Rides: more than 200 rides and games at Carnaval, and redesigned carts on the Festival Wheel. A new roller coaster, Tokyo Rush, is due later in the season; no opening date has been announced yet.
- Getting in: more ticket counters at the Happiness Gate, new signage in the car parks, more Family POD washrooms and a WhatsApp chatbot for help during your visit.
Getting there: buses, abras and parking
Global Village sits on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), and there's no Metro station at the gate. If you're coming by Metro, change to one of RTA's direct buses at the stations below.
| RTA route | From | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| 102 | Al Rashidiya Bus Station | Every 60 minutes |
| 103 | Union Bus Station | Every 40 minutes |
| 104 | Al Ghubaiba Bus Station | Every 60 minutes |
| 106 | Mall of the Emirates Bus Station | Every 60 minutes |
The ride takes about 30 minutes. Timetables can shift during the season, so check the RTA app before you leave, especially for the last bus home.
If you drive, there are free car parks, paid zones closer to the gates (reported at Dh75 to Dh120) and VIP parking at around Dh200 a day for anyone without a VIP Pack. New this season, VIP parking can be paid at self-service machines before you reach the exit, which should cut the queue at closing time. Taxis and ride-hailing drop off at the Gate of the World.
Before you go
- Respectful dress applies: shoulders and knees covered for everyone.
- No outside food or drink, no suitcases, and nothing on wheels except strollers and wheelchairs.
- Free entry for under-3s and seniors is collected at the admissions counter, so bring ID.
- Evenings from November get cool. Bring a light layer if you're staying until 1am.
- Give it four to six hours. Rushing the pavilions is how people leave feeling they missed half of it.
Conclusion
The headline price hasn't moved, but the calendar has. Dh25 at the gate now means Monday to Thursday only. Sunday, Friday and Saturday cost Dh30, unless you've bought ahead. Pick your night, check who in your group goes free, and sort transport before the weekend traffic does it for you.
