Lived up to the hype for us. We did Private Desert Safari Tour in Dubai. A solid few hours. Not the most famous thing in the UAE, and that was fine. Worth the ticket.
Glad we did not skip it. Sunset on the dunes looked exactly like the photos, orange sand and the city far behind us. It is a tourist classic for a reason. Hot, sandy, a bit theatrical, and still worth doing once. Signage at the entrance could be clearer for first-timers. Left
Highly recommended if you have it on the fence. We did Private Desert Safari Tour in Dubai. The dune drive was the part everyone talks about, and it really is steep enough to feel like a proper desert outing. Worth the ticket.

After the adventure-filled portion, you’ll arrive at a desert camp where you can enjoy traditional Arabic coffee, get a henna tattoo, and try on local attire for photos. The evening typically concludes with a BBQ dinner, live performances like belly dancing and tanoura shows, and a stargazing experience in the serene desert setting.
What should I wear and bring for the Desert Safari?
Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended for the Desert Safari, such as lightweight pants or shorts, a breathable top, and closed-toe shoes for dune activities. It’s a good idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat to protect yourself from the sun. In winter months, the desert can get chilly in the evening, so a light jacket or sweater is advisable. Really enjoyed this. The dune drive was the part everyone talks about, and it really is steep enough to feel like a proper desert outing. Quad / dune time was short but fun. The camp side of it (tea, seating, the evening light) is what made it feel complete. Pricing of extras
