Brilliant experience, extremely helpful staff. My Daughter has Autism and gets bored quickly but with a POD card we could get free access. This is definitely a bonus when we don’t stay too long in a place. A member of staff assisted us to a fast track waiting area and the whole process was very smooth.
What a museum ? There are 5 levels and each level is different from the other. The level especially which has various species of animals, plants, marine life is simply amazing. So much to learn. And the architecture of the building in the form of a ring is just marvellous engineering. Trust me this is not a museum where you will get bored. You will learn a lot about the present and the future.

All visitors, including those eligible for free admission, must have a ticket to enter the Museum. All tickets are date and time specific. Tickets provide full access to the Museum experience and amenities. CHILDREN: Entry Tickets to the Museum of the Future are free of charge for Children under the age of four (4). Children under the age of four (4)do not require pre-booking and can approach the Customer Service desk upon arrival for entry tickets. The Customer Service Team may ask for proof of eligibility, so please have documentation or ID at hand. PEOPLE OF DETERMINATION: Tickets to the Museum of the Future are free of charge for People of Determination and one caregiver. People of Determination and their caregivers do not require pre-booking and can approach the Customer Service desk upon arrival for entry tickets. To avail of the free entry, our Customer Service Team will ask for proof of eligibility, so please have a People of Determination ID indicating your name at hand.

By Public Transport - We recommend you use Dubai Metro for the best access (Emirates Towers Station, Red Line). The link bridge connects the metro station directly to the museum. You can also use the Dubai Bus Service network. The best service line numbers are as follows:

By Car - You may use your personal vehicle and park on-location (subject to availability) or use our valet parking service. The Museum of the Future is directly adjacent to Jumeirah Emirates Towers in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can also arrive by foot, bicycle, or electric scooter and use the bicycle racks provided in the self-park area. We also have drop-off areas around the museum.

Yes. The Museum of the Future in Dubai has been temporarily closed since early September 2026 while it builds a completely reimagined experience, with a new narrative, exhibitions and spaces. The closure is temporary, not permanent, and the museum plans to reopen in the first quarter of 2027 (official museum FAQ, checked 18 Oct 2026).
When it reopens in the first quarter of 2027, the Museum of the Future will show an entirely new, more interactive journey with new exhibitions and labs; the previous exhibitions will not return in their old form. The 77-metre torus-shaped building, with Arabic calligraphy on a facade of 1,024 stainless-steel panels, stays unchanged.
The Museum of the Future has had a cafe and a gift shop with books and design souvenirs. During the temporary closure, which runs until a planned reopening in the first quarter of 2027, the main visitor areas are closed, so check the museum's official channels before you go for any spaces that remain open.
The Museum of the Future plans to reopen in the first quarter of 2027, in time for its fifth anniversary, with an entirely new experience (official museum FAQ, checked 18 Oct 2026). Tickets for the renewed museum will go on sale closer to the reopening. The iconic building itself will not change.
Not the main exhibitions. During the temporary closure, the Museum of the Future's exhibitions and experiences are closed to visitors, although some spaces may stay open for selected activities, events and services. You can still see and photograph the building from outside. For updates, follow the museum's official channels.
The Museum of the Future is 77 metres tall, with a total area of 30,548 m². It was designed by Killa Design and engineered by Buro Happold. The calligraphy on its stainless-steel facade quotes Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, including: 'The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it and execute it.'
Under the museum's ticket rules, children under 4 enter the Museum of the Future free, and People of Determination plus one caregiver also enter free; both still need a ticket from the customer service desk, with proof of eligibility. Prices and rules for the renewed museum will be confirmed when tickets go on sale before the 2027 reopening.

The Museum of the Future was really cool! The design of the building is aesthetically awesome. Once inside, we got our ticket and began our “Jetson” journey 😂. There is no technological expense spared onsite. There’s AI, integrated video, interactive video, an interactive robot that really gave me I, Robot vibes (minus the glowing red chest), and too much other cool stuff to name. The coolest fact is they are actually working on all the things displayed in the museum! The flying taxi debuts in 2026! This is a must see attraction when you visit Dubai.
Beautiful from the outside, very boring from the inside. Neither worth the money nor the time commitment. Take photos from outside and do something else. The outdoor viewing platform is very nice. But still hard to say that this would justify the waiting time.
Stunning building which is worth visiting for the architecture of the building itself. However, the museum is pretty terrible the first section basically shows you a potential future space station called SShope which is ok if you like that kind of thing but you are unable to move to the museum itself without going through this simulation of a launch and landing on the space station, my VR at home is more realistic. Then the rest of museum gives you some advanced technology we have today but there was nothing I found surprising or new. Much of the future tech we already use today in the UK anyway. No enough about the following areas Artificial intelligence Renewable energy (briefly mentioned on OSS hope) Gadgets Interactive stations or simulations. Nice building don’t expect much future technology
Nice! It's very educational we had so much fun it's a beautiful place to visit with family and friends. Dubai is simply amazing
absolutely gorgeous building on the outside, specially in the night. convenient to arrive by car or even metro. once inside, we felt the tours were not that amazing. elevator to the top was ok, with a slow ascent some of the displays/things were not that appealling, even though we understand the themes were about the future. in shallah that they achieve the goal to have an space station by 2070.

Unfortunately, I can't write an equally enthusiastic opinion as others have. The building itself is impressive in its design and structure. But the insights resemble a well oiled-money making machine for those who run it. To me, it is absolutely not worth its price. First, the hour of entrance is actually a joke. Come anytime and you will join a really long queue. Then what you see is nothing spectacular; it's like an amusement park for kids but with not much to see. The most ridiculous is the floor where they speak about the healing of the future. For 169 AED the regular ticket price or 400 AED if you want to skip the queue, you can lie down in a quiet room and listen to a lecture told by an avatar. In the whole 'museum' there is nothing new, no technological novelties just an advert of a few companies (SAP, AUDI, etc) which you still need to pay for. What needs to be praised is the ability of the marketing team, to make it so desirable for so many people to visit it. Hence, the crowds that gather in hope to see some spectacular artefacts, but all they see is a few floors where you listen to the guides that tell you stories with some minimal audio-visual effects. I know it's hard to skip it with all the hype around it but if you want to avoid the disappointment and not waste the time and money - just do it. Skip it!
